Lifestyle Portrait Photography| Elaine & Sammy

I am first born, but I have an older sister that has been there for me...since I was a baby crawling around in my mother's little hut in Vietnam. Elaine has been there thick and thin - guiding, supporting and understanding me...just as an older sister should. Keeping things in order on my wedding day and pulling miracles out of thin air to keep me from crying. Overlooking my flaws and believing in me ... Thank you for your friendship and love over the years. And thank you for blessing our lives with a wonderful niece, that I love beyond words. Love you two so much!

Hawaii Vacation

Whew! We are back from Hawaii and ready to tackle all the emails/voicemails/facebook messages etc. etc... Hawaii was awesome! I got a major tan that will probably last me til next year! Got a road rash souvinour at Hanauma Bay... Time to get back to work. We'll try to get a response back to you guys as soon as we can.

the beautiful ride around Oahu heading to Hanauma Bay. This is the last stop just before my intimate encounter with the road.

Detour

This post is a little different from the norm. I took a detour home today and decided to take a turn onto a road I have never been on. Just to see what was there. I found a really nice calm and pleasant scenery. Some may think deserted and plain. But I found serene undisturbed beauty.

I'm going to turn in early tonight to rest up for Angela & George's wedding tomorrow in Santa Cruz. Good night.

The Little ones.

We celebrated my Padrino's Parent's 48th Wedding Anniversary with a big family BBQ out by the River in Merced. It was a beautiful day. I notice that the one thing I enjoy most during these events is that I get to see how the little ones grow. Every couple of weeks or months when we get together there's always some little change that's so wonderful to see. Yeah i know... major signs of my bio-clock ringing ;)

These two are just so cute I had to post. Enjoy!

Korea day 1

me in Korea natural light from window

Brrrr... it's cold this time of year in Korea. I'm here for a whole week! Staying at the Ritz Carlton in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The christmas light decor is still up and gorgeous with stars on the trees and twinkling lights everywhere! So cute! I took some pics last night when we headed out for dinner after checking in...but guess what? I was so excited I grabbed my camera and forgot to put in my memory card. So I was snapping away taking pics of our curry dinner at cute little CocoCurry, the hotel and the city lights around Seoul only to find out there's nothing when I got back to the hotel. boo!

Today: My first day in Korea exploring Seoul all by myself while my hubby works - hmmm...what to do? Shopping! of course! Took the Subayway (very clean by the way!) down to Coex Mall. What a Gigantic mall with so much stuff. I must have walked 15-20 miles... I'm not sure how far I walked but my feet hurt like I did. Did I mention everything in Korea is so CUTE! Cute little shops with jackets, scarfs, rings, earrings. Bookstores and novelty shops with wonderful trinkets and they are all so cute! Yeah I can't over emphasis cute. I wanted to buy everything...but I have a limited budget...so I had to refrain myself. =)
items i purchased today

I'm back at the hotel. Time to put in some work hours before my hubby is gets back from the office. But I'm feeling sleepy and might just take a nap. I don't know if I'm tired from the cold, shopping or jet-lag, but I'm sleepy. See ya'll tomorrow.
