I haven't been posting in a while. It's been pretty slow on the front, I don't have weddings booked until the summer. Been spending my time practicing on my lighting skills and figuring out whether I should invest in glass or a new body.
This weekend was quite eventful. We threw my Mother-in-law a big 50th Birthday Surprise party! Boy was she surprised! She never saw it coming. Such a wonderful warm hearted woman - she so deserves it. We had a custom made cake by our one and only Nerieda, fresh mexican style tacos, flowers by moi and many friends and family to share the love for a great woman.
I also spent Sunday afternoon with two of the cutest babies in San Jose. My sister's co-worker wanted some pictures of her nieces. I was a bit late to the appointment - because I had to drop off my hubby at SFO airport for his routine trip to Korea. Yeah, I had to go solo on this job. I figure I can handle a few babies on my own. Whew..., was I wrong. They are the most adorable and cutest subjects to photograph...but sleepy and tired babies makes a long shoot. We did get some wonderful shots though. And their mommies were so co-operative and so open to doing anything to get those girls to smile. It was long but it was fun! I really do look forward to doing more children's portraits in the future.
